I wanted to share my workaround for installing Xposed+GravityBox on a Huawei device (y530 in my case, but will probably work on other Huaweis) So, FIRST thing I did was, while deleting bloatware, I froze an app named "Themer," it eats up a bunch of RAM and is useless, I haven't found a single EMUI theme online. Then, I installed Version 2.3.1 of Xposed I found online somewhere, downloaded and installed the current version of GravityBox, activate and reboot and that's it, GravityBox works. Mostly, some stuff doesn't seem to have an effect, but I'm still learning, so who knows. This would probably work with Xposed 2.6.1, as after this I can update Xposed and GravityBox works just fine., no need to disable resource API's in Xposed, I'm pretty sure the only way to change the theme is thru the "Themer" app, nothing seems to be broken and I've been running this way for a month.
