Ok, so Santa brought me a nice crack on my D801 G2 display and the entire portion below the crack does not respond to touch (unlike Samsungs where you can literally have a completely shattered digitizer and still have full touchscreen control).
Now, I live in Romania and my G2 is a Tmobile D801 and I found out that there are various hardware differences between LG G2 models... however on local shops or websites here they sell the International G2 D802 displays and digitizer or they are incorrectly specifying for what models of G2 the displays they sell are suitable. Many of these vendors even advertise that the display they sell is compatible with D800, D801, D802, D803, LS980, VS980... but after a bit of search I realised that this is impossible because there are some differences between the connectors of these devices. If I got this right D800, D801 and D803 have the same connector and the D802 uses a different one.
Can someone please provide me the part code for the D801 LCD/digitizer? I don't want to order the wrong part....
As a side note, this is a great device but the screen got cracked too easily after a light drop... also the digitizer started to unglue from the bezel and I imagine that this happens because my phone often overheats around the camera and volume keys... thus progressively melting the glue of the double side tape that holds the screen.
