att nexus 6, (sim unlocked), but running on att's network with att sim...
i know how to edit the build.prop to disable the tethering eligibility check, and i did just that.
BUT...
i have a vague recollection that newer devices like the nexus 6 report to the network when you are tethering, regardless of whether you are a legitimate subscriber. but i can't find where i read it, and i don't know what to do about it if it's true. so even though i disabled the eligibility check,so i _can_ tether, i have not actually done it. which is no big deal as i don't have any real need to, but i like to know i can.
so what's the latest on the n6 reporting tethering to the network?
