I recently bought an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (second hand) for my daughter. She is using a T-Mobile SIM. When she first turned the phone on, it seemed to work perfectly. It wasn't until she had downloaded a few apps that she realized the Storage only showed 1.32 GB Total space with 1.17 GB available. The box indicates a total 32 GB. Where are they? We did a reset, but that didn't help. Then I tried to do a recovery (Up Volume, Power, Home), but the screen does not look like the video; it only shows three options: Recovery Mode, Fastboot Mode, and Normal Mode. When I selected Recovery Mode, I got the "dead droid" No Command error.
I then found a video that suggested "flashing Odin" using Down Volume, Power, Home. But instead of getting the Warning! screen, the phone flashed "FACTORY MODE" and then I saw a bunch of yellow Korean characters against a blue background. I'm at a loss as to how to work through this problem. Please HELP!
