When I first bought my LG G2 in June of 2014, I was a tad bit gullible, and I cringed at the G3 ad that came on the TV soon after. I quickly rooted it using ioroot. I'm not really submersed into my phone like I could be due to kids, wife, family, and my ability to withstand sunlight... :p
I've done some searching. I see the Stump method must be used on this update which appears to be super easy, but I believe the leftover files from my ioroot are causing it to lie to me and say the device is rooted. I just need a little re-assurance that what I'm reading, and the conclusion I'm jumping to is correct.
Do I need to flash my phone back to stock? Then update all the way to LS980ZVE, and then Stump it like it's hott? :silly:
If so, I see several posts that might contain the ROM and instructions I need, but I'm unsure which ROM & Instructions I should use. Some of the posts are very dated.
