So I was trying to sideload the Xfinity TV Go app on my Nexus Player to watch live TV, but ran into a problem. With a few workarounds, I was able to get the app running and sign into it, but I am not getting any audio. On a phone or tablet, audio will only output through the audio jack, and to my knowledge will not output over HDMI. This is an even bigger issue on the Player as it has no audio jack.
Does anyone know of an app or a modification to the system that would force the audio over HDMI?
Or would I need to buy some kind of USB DAC?
