[Q] update from 4.2.2 to 4.4.4 or 5.0 topic

Hi im using i9505 rooted like one yr ago. was stuck at 4.2.2

now i feel lost on how to update to kitkat or lollipop..

just wondering can anyone tell me how should i go about it?

is data wipe a must?
