R970x gsm options topic

I recently got a Cspire S4 trying to unlock at the moment. Its on 4.2.2 MG1. Anyone know how I can extract the modem or system and make odin flashable? I understand that I will probably need linux for this and am already using ElementaryOS. Thanks
