I have not found any similar threads yet and it seems I have put my Nexus 5 into deep trouble. My phone was rooted and I wanted to install the OTA Update (5.0.1). So I decided to get back to stock recovery. After flashing it with fastboot my phone started into a strange screen with just random red-green-blue-white dots ... even when I start into bootloader (it shows fastboot in windows commandline under "fastboot devices"). But even after flashing stock android it still shows this random screen.
Hope someon can help me :-/
My setup:
- Nexus 5 (LTE) with 5.0.0
- Windows 8
- drivers and everything installed
- Nexus is rooted
- Screen seems to be software bricked
Detailed behaviour:
- when I want to force shutdown using the power button it
- sometimes just goes black and back to random
- sometimes goes off and starts into bootloader (sometimes allowing me to use volumes buttons sometimes not)
- sometimes it starts into the "Google"-Logo Screen and nothing else happens
