Using at&t or at&t straighttalk w/ N900T, optimal setups? Share your experience/rig? topic

09:24

I've been scouring the forums, reading pages upon pages about running the 900T on at&t/at&t straight talk. From the release of the note3, to the initial speculation, to people buying them and trying it out, to now.

What makes this post difference is, it's specifically geared towards people who have that setup, and if they're willing to share their setup/settings.

Setup= what/how are you running? (unlocked bootloader? rooted? what custom roms? etc.)

How is it working, how do you like it?

Settings= APN, etc. (I was concerned when I read that quite a few people were reporting issues on running the 900T on at&t, either the phone has horrible connection issues, speed issues, or overheating), what works, how are your speeds and connection stability? Care to share?

There seems to be quite a few users on here who run this setup, but it's scattered in random but related topic threads. Just thought we'd get us together and share the experience. I'm planning to get the N900T and I want to run it on at&t or at&t straight talk(I have cards and sim already for both). But, I was wondering, am I expecting too much to expect a T-mobile N900T to run "perfect" on at&t? I've read lots, and it seems like the modem firmware is an issue, being optimized for T-mobile's network, even though the hardware can use at&t's bands.. have these issues been resolved? I saw some users show pretty good speeds, while others having pretty bad speeds.

Thanks, cheers to the community, Happy New Years as well!
