Would this keep you from buying another Samsung? topic

01:23

I recently noticed this strange blemish around the home button of my GS5 Dev. Edition. The phone has never been dropped in the water and when I clean the screen with eyeglass cleaner or alcohol you can't see the blemish. Once you get some oil from your hands on the screen it becomes visible again.

Samsung wasn't much help when I called them about it and were going to make me pay to fix it. The phone is only about 6mo old.

I really want to buy a Note 4, but I feel bad giving them repeat business when I've never abused this phone and clearly there is something wrong with the screen and they want me to pay to fix it :(

What would you do in my position?
