Force menu button? topic

I would like to know if there is a way to force the menu button to show on the navbar for lollipop roms. I like a couple lollipop roms but not having the menu button is a real killer for me. Or if there is a way to change recents to menu that would be good too. A zip or instructions would be very helpful. On KitKat and older builds I usually changed it in one of the files but I can't seem to find it on lollipop.
