I want to use an Android tablet or phone as the computer and monitor to display sensor inputs and then control outputs to hardware based on sensor inputs.
Example:
Analog temperature data comes in via IOIO or Arduino ADK to the tablet, then...
The tablet displays the data and is programmed to output a command through IOIO or ADK to do something.
---> ex: temperature reaches 100F, android commands a valve to open, then temperature drops below 100F and the valve is commanded closed.
How difficult is it to do this and is IOIO or Arduino ADK best suited to this application?
