Out of nowhere my completely stock Nexus 5 just shut off and wouldn't get past the Google splash screen when I powered it back up. I've tried the following:
I'm no android expert but it appears as though the partition in which the recovery menu and android OS live has fried.
Any advice? Thanks for the help!
- Using fastboot menu to load stock android recovery - BLACK SCREEN AFTER SELECTING THE RECOVERY OPTION
- Using fastboot to send over the factory image and start fresh - HALTS DURING DATA WIPE
- Unlocking the bootloader to install a new recovery - HALTS AT DATA WIPE (i'm supposed to see the wipe progress but i dont get any further than the ellipsis)
