Hi All,
I'm trying to use Tasker to build a widget and track usage metrics for MX Player. I'm using Tasker's "send intent" function along with a few extras to launch particular files at particular positions.
What I'd also like to be able to do is detect when MX Player stops playing, save the current file and current position to be resumed by the widget later. From the API it seems that this information is available (refer Result: com.mxtech.intent.result.VIEW) but I can't get Tasker to see this information. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the way MX Player broadcasts or with how Tasker listens (and the associated configuration)
Can anyone confirm that com.mxtech.intent.result.VIEW is a broadcast intent, and if so how I might get Tasker to react to its status changing?
Thanks,
Michael
