Alright guys, hoping someone can point me in the right direction here. Currently running stock 5.0 rooted plus Franco's kernal. Whenever I try to transfer large files off my phone (1.8-2GB+) via USB-MTP, the phone freezes. It gets to about 80% and the phone simply locks up. If the screen is on at the time, the display remains on but unresponsive. PC keeps waiting for the phone, doesn't seem to timeout. To make anything happen I have to disconnect the phone and reboot.
I've tried doing it in safemode, tried using ADB to transfer, same results. This is annoying the hell out of me. I've seen similar posts both on XDA and elsewhere, but never any resolution. Can anyone else think of an alternative? Should also mention that I'm getting failures when attempting to upload the files onto another PC via WiFi too (ES File Explorer) - phone doesn't freeze, the transfer just fails.
