Okay so currently I use my genuine Samsung 2.0 MHL adapter for my car because I use the AppRadio 2 head unit in my car. I use the ARUnchained app with it and everything works great. However if I use a navigation app like Waze, my battery drains even though it states that it is charging. If i'm just listening to music without the phone constantly looking for my location then it will charge, but slowly. What really blows my mind is that if my phone is at 100% charge when I first plug it in and then use Waze, it will stay fully charged. :eek: I am using a Scosche car charger that puts out 2.4 amps per usb port. Also when I go into my battery settings it shows that the phone is being charged from (AC) instead of (USB). I have tried using various USB cables, MHL adapters, and even different car chargers(the one I currently use puts out the most power so I'm sticking with it). My question is, how can I get my phone to charge when using a battery draining app like Waze? It absolutely blows my mind that if you start with a full charge it will stay charged but you plug it in with anything less than 100% and it will drain.
