Hello! I've been around and i've seen how some people is finding it hard to flash the .ftfs (cough*me*cough*)
Requires:
-Internet(you have it right now)
-Flashtools DL
-The ability to ask for help without fear (*cough* modaco *cough*)
But after a while i found it really easy and do it on a weekly basis (cus I'm trying keep my phone clean, not because i mess... dw)
Anyway you first to download Flash tools a quick google search will return it or click here >>>(http://www.flashtool.net/)
0) the download is a bit... so i chose torrent as it faster than the other options (for me anyway)
1)Download it and install it's a nice installation and should be easy
2)open it up i chose to open the 64bit cause i can and i dont really know the difference so yeah...
3)If you cannot find it it'll be in (C:\Flashtool, or WHATEVERDRIVE:\Flashtools)
4)Run as admin and wait for it to sync it data with GitHub
5)Press the "BLU" if your bootloader isn't already unlocked
6)Press the Lighting Bolt and select "Flashmode"(should be first option)
7)At this moment you would see a "Blank" window with no Firmwares. So at this stage click the top "Source folder" and copy it's address( just in case as Windows and Linux is different and i know nothing about Mac so yeah :/ )
8)With that put it somewhere safe open wordpad or somin' and save it
9)Now you are ready to start downloading the .ftfs (see post 2)
10)Click the one you want to flash (if its same android ver, 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 or 4.4.4 to 4.4.2 it should be fine and you can deselect the "Data and Cache" (this way you keep all yo data and bookmarks ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
11) It'll now start to prepare the files for your phone, while its doing this you might wanna turn it off and pop a pin into the hole next to the sim/sd slot to make sure its turned off)
12)It'll have a nice window that will pop up and ask you to hold the back button DON'T!!! Hold the VOLUME DOWN and plug in the micro usb (the other end is in the pc, k?)
13)If it works it output a sound (default windows) and it'll check the drivers and if it's good the window will close down
14)The main GUI will start to send over the data on your phone and flashing it
15)Wait about 10-30 mins it's about 15mins for me so dont get insecure about your "RIG and it's 5min flash time"
16)It'll so DONE! and tell you to unplug and turn it on
17)Unplug and turn it on, the first boot will take quite long about 10-60mins depending on (i have no idea)
